How exciting! I'll be 15+3 when I go in for mine, I really want a little girl and my husband wants a boy but I guess if they can't tell by then we'll just have to wait.
I found out at 12 weeks with my first pregnancy that I was having a boy during an ultrasound, it was a guess but they also gave me a blood test that confirmed two weeks later that indeed it was a boy! This time around I had to wait till 20 weeks
Mines not until the fifth and my husband cant make it bc hes at air force training .. he also couldnt make it to my first ultrasound with our first childso i def know how you feel but u will have anothet soon for the sex :-) hopefully he can make it to that one!
Oh my gosh how exciting! Was it confirmed later? I hope we are able to find out, but if not I guess we'll just have to wait.
At the doctor I go to. I don't get my first ultrasound until at least 20 weeks. And I might get one around 38 to check fluid.
I found out at 15 weeks we were having a baby boy
My doctor only does one ultrasound for the anatomy scan around 20 weeks unless you are having complications.
I only had one at 21 weeks, your not behind. Not all doctors even do 2 of them.
You shouldn't worry, I didn't get an ultrasound until I was about 13 weeks. As long as you feel fine and taking your vitamins, you should be good. The doctor probably won't tell you the sex until you're further along. Between 18-20 weeks just to be sure.
The pregnancy resource center here in my town only does an ultrasound for confirmation and the health center is the one who set this one up.
They won't tell you gender that early. Usually between 18-20 weeks. I would schedule it around 18 weeks BC you usually only get one or two ultrasounds
Your insurance is prolly only gunna cover 2 ultrasounds so I suggest making ur apt a week later if u want to know gender (u can usually find out at 16 w the earliest) or they will do ur second ultrasound around 20 weeks if u have the patience.
That just means your probably going to get another one in about a month or so for the anatomy scan. Idk if they do those at 15 weeks
They might be able to find out, but usually the gender isn't determined until 16-20 weeks. Good luck!
If you have a pregnancy resource center they do free ultrasounds if you haven't had one done yet by your doctor....I know ours does....
