Hi Ladies I'm 35 Weeks & I'm Due Jan.2nd, I have not gained much weight during my pregnancy but yesterday my doctor told me my daughter is under weight & If She Doesn't Grow Much More They Will Have To Induce Me but she weighs 4pound & 14oz and I thought that was pretty normal weight for right now . This is my first baby so I was wondering what you ladies who already have kids think ?

Your doc suggested that because your baby may not be getting what he/she needs from the placenta & may thrive better outside the womb. At 34 weeks my baby is 5-6 lbs.

Im 29 weeks and ive only gained 8 pounds n started off at 112.... idk how big my baby is yet... ill prob find out next week at dr

I was açways sick with my first child, i list more than i gained. Ly doctor was worried and told me she was only four pounds. He said if i didnt gain weight by my next appt he would do an emergency c section. I went into labor four days later and had a healthy 7 lb twelve ounce baby! You will be fine!! They try to be on the safe side just in case and usually freqk you out instead.

Wow.. When I was 35 weeks my baby only weighed 4lbs and 12ounces due to lack of prenatal care.. And they said that I needed to come back a month later to check on his growth. At that follow up appointment my baby gained exactly 3lbs! And he was born 7lbs and 4.7ouncez. Don't listen to them, your completely fine. I didn't get prenatal care for 7 months and my baby is as healthy as can be! Ultrasounds aren't even 100% accurate.. Its give or take. Don't worry, you have nothing to worry about. Just continue to eat and do the right things. Good luck!

Actually we have the same dute date.im have c section schedule on jan 2nd:) cant wait. .

Really your doctor say that? ..I think its normal.coz I just have my 34 weeks ultrasound lastweek and my baby girl only weight 4.3 lbs.and doctor say it is small side but its fine . I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow. So I dnt know how she gain in a week.i think eveey doctor is different, plus ultrasound is not really adequate how weight the babies..sometimes they wrong.
