Unusually late period

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for roughly a year now with no success.  As of this month I am currently 10 days late with mutiple negative home pregnancy tests.  I have also had a blood test done and that was negative.  I have never ever in my life been this late as I am a 30 day for 7 days sort of gal.  My thyroid is completly normal and I live and eat very healthy and am not over or under weight.  The doctor seems to think that I am most definately not pregnant and if I do not have a period by next week that she should induce one.  I am skeptical of her doing that just as I am skeptical of the test results.  I have had slight nausea/vomiting, my nipples are sore and I'm having lower back pain.  Is it possible that I could be pregnant despite what the tests and the doctor says?  I need some help here.  My gut is telling me that I am.

Thanks!  I'm already setting up the appointment.  Just seems to weird to me that I don't have it by now.  There was no way in hell I was letting this doctor induce a period!  Not until I'm 100% sure either way.  I'll keep ya posted....god I hope I am!

your gut could be right miss.. try to give yourself a few more days then go in and ask for another pregnancy test and to draw blood to check your HCG level see where that stands.. wish you luck!

Request another blood test.  One that tells you how much hcg there is.  Some labs see hcg 10 and rule it as a negative (if you had a positive negative blood test)  when in fact it does mean pregnancy.  Demand that they give you your hcg levels.  Good luck to you!
