Unwanted belly touching

I can not stand when certain people just start rubbing my tummy, like personal effing space haha but really what is a polite way to tell people I don't like it?? cus I've seriously wanted to slap people's hands off of me.

That's how I felt with my first child when his father's mom would try and touch my stomach. I didn't like her but I just grinned and had to bear it because I didn't want to make him mad or hurt her feelings. Most people should ask though, it's not a given that when there's a pregnant woman around- the belly is not a free for all! Lol

In Pennsylvania there's now a law that protects us from that. Unfortunately, none of these people know yet and continue to pet my massive bump. If you think of a way to put it out there that you're not a Labrador retriever and belly rubs aren't appreciated please share.

I agree ^^ I absolutely HATE it when my sister in law touches my belly she also randomly wakes me up by rubbing it & I wanna punch her in the face & tell her to back off because my daughter isn't even there lol. My daughter stays in my pelvic area she moves up sometimes but she goes back down. My husband thinks I'm over reacting but it's so annoying for ppl to be rubbing my belly & even more when I'm asleep.

I'm the same way lol. I straight up tell them I don't appreciate them touching my stomach and that it makes me uncomfortable. That's not something people should just do without asking, no matter who they are. I love my mom, she's my best friend, but I don't even like HER doing it. The only person I let do it besides myself is my husband. Doesn't bother me at all. I think it's just instincts lol. We want to protect them even though we know they're okay lol.
