Update

So after bleeding all through the weekend, I made a doctor's appointment for Monday. It so happens that my ob is on vacation for the week so I could only see one of the nurses. Well she did both a vaginal and abdominal u/s and although we could see the baby perfectly, we were unable to see nor hear a heartbeat. I was and still am crushed. This has never happened to me and I just never thought it would. Since it was a nurse and not the dr who did the u/s I have to go in for an official one today at a different office. I pray that the nurse was wrong and made a mistake, but it is unlikely since I am still bleeding today. After this u/s I will update again.

I'm terribly sorry Hun. You are right about you having a guardian angel. We are here if you need to vent.

I got the official word today that I am having a miscarriage. My little bean is still present, but not a heartbeat. I have to contact my dr tomorrow to speak about the possibility of having a d & c. My family is coping as best we can, but holding on to the fact that we now have a guardian angel protecting and waiting for us.
