Urinary tract infection

Has everyone had these during pregnancy often? I am 16 weeks and experiencing my 3rd or 4th one. My doctor just called, and called in a prescription and asked me to get them asap. Will everything be alright?

Everything will be fine as long as you take your prescription, no sex for however many days you have to take the pills, drink water, and use the restroom as much as you can. Take care!!! =D

Yes and it's horrible.  I've had about the same during my pregnancy as well.  Yes, UTI's make sure you get your prescription ASAP.  I didn't I waited a week thinking water and cranberry juice would make it go away.  I ended up getting pylneophritis and had to be on IV getting anitbiotic fluids. My doctor was upset saying that an untreated UTI can cause a miscarriage especially in early pregnancy.  So take care of that ASAP.
