Urine Tests?
With my first baby i got a urine test every visit to test for all the various things they test for but this time around i had to get a new dr and he hasnt asked for urine once and im 21 wks should i be worried how will they know if i have protien in my urine or if theres any infection or whatever they test for. Has anybody else gone through this?
Every doctor visit & ob/gyn visit I have ever gone to asks for a urine sample, to test for far more than a bladder infection. I would really ask your doctor why he doesnt do those test, and how he catches those things without a urine sample.
I've had 5 kiddos, and pregnant with 6th now. Urine tests aren't needed and actually not the norm unless you are having frequent bladder infections. Just know your new doc is probably just fine :)
