Urine infection at 26 weeks- antibiotics

I have been needing to pee every five minutes for the last week, and when i do go, there would only be a little bit of urine there and i mild burning sensation. At first i thought it was just another pregnancy symptom, however when i went to the day assesment unit at hospital they found SG? What ever that is and LEU? Which i also have no idea about in my urine. They said its probably a urine infection so they have given me an antibitoic called Cefalexin. anyone got any advice, will my baby be ok- Thanks

yeah you and baby will be fine. I had uti last week but every antibiotics they gave me I was allergic to.

I got 3 UTI's during my pregnancy or I guess it could have been just one long infection that wouldn't go away. I can't remember what I was put on, but yes your baby will be fine. Just make sure it's treated because uti's could lead to premature labour. There's a high chance that you will probably get one again so I would suggest taking cranberry pills or drinking pure cranberry juice so that everything stays clear. Avoid sex too when you have the infections.
