I just found out that I have low iron.

So I just got my results back from my iron and glucose test I had taken, and my doc said my iron levels were low and I would have to take an iron supplements. I asked her how low my iron was and she said they like levels to be at a 32 and I was at a 30. What exactly did she mean by that? My ferritin levels? My iron levels? Or something else?

Those must be your glucose levels?
Because the average normal iron level in pregnancy is about an 11.
I was anemic last pregnancy. Usually always a 9.
However, this pregnancy I am severely anemic. I am both iron and b12 deficient, which can be dangerous.
I have to take both iron and b12 supplements on top of a vitamin C supplement to help the iron absorb better.

Take your supplements.
