Vericose vains suck! Sad face..

I have a Vericose vain on my leg it starts at the very top and goes down a bit past my knee. I've read it happens to the overweight or ones who quickly gain but I'm neither. I got it with my first pregnancy five years ago. I'm tall like 6' don't know if that makes a difference.. I worked 40hrs a week the entire pregnancy with the first and towards the end I got the vericosed vain. This pregnancy I'm not working, I go to school full time and I walk pretty much everywhere, so quite a lot of walking.. I'm only 21weeks and the vain came back a few weeks ago, so pretty early in the pregnancy this time.. It's really painful.. Im just wondering if this is more common than I thought or maybe cause I'm tall or im on my feet a bunch? Sorry for this being so long.. It really hurts.

My doctor also told me they'd very likely go away after the baby was here.

Most health insurance companies consider varicose veins a major health issue and covers up to 100% to get them removed! Just a little fyi!

Actually my dr said and I've read online that by exercising daily can prevent varicose veins but also if ur family or u have had a history with them then ur most likely to get them specially through pregnancy and they can be painful also there's creams and other methods to help with the pain or even Mimi size them or even make them go away but ask ur dr I'm sure he or she can prescribes something for u,,, good luck

Im not sure but I have read that the vericose veins are a pregnancy symptom.. IDK if that has anything to do with a lot of walking or not but it could be.. If its painful I would mention it to your dr to see if theres anything they could do. they might just tell you to stay off your feet.. maybe bed rest
