I'm 39 Weeks Turning 40 Tomarrow. For The Past 2 3 Days I Have Been Getting Contractions, But They Are Never Consistent. If Not The Pain Will Stay There On My Lower Stomach And I Will Be In Pain The Whole Day. On Top Of That My Baby Hasn't Moved. He Will Do Like 4 5 Kicks And That Will Literally Be It For The Whole Day. My Husband Will Try And Talk With Him, And Move My Stomach Around And Nothing. I Am A First Time Mom So I'm Wondering Should I Be Worried? Because At The Same Time I Can Tell My Husband Is Worried Because He Hasnt Felt My Baby Move, And Because I'm Always In Pain..
Before you freak out about baby not moving, you should always try drinking a glass of juice first. The sugar will get baby moving more. Then after that, they always told me to "play" with the baby to try to get it moving. Like tapping your stomach or moving your belly around like your husband does, or play music. The previous comment is correct, you should feel at least 10 movements in an hour. Any kind of movement. Doesn't have to be a hard kick. If none of that works, call your o.b., midwife or maternal nurse (whichever applies to you) and explain your concerns to them so they can help you figure out if you need to be worried or not. I'm sure your baby is fine. Good luck momma!!
It's not true that you should feel them less you should still be getting 10 movements in an hour instead of kicks you normally feel rolling movements instead I would get checked out
Id go in and update please lol i hope you the best and i hope you will ease you and your mans mind a little. Sometimes a little reassurance is the perfect thing
I know the later in pregnancy its usual for baby to not move as much but if your worried id go in just to put your mind at ease honestly the least they will do is let you hear babys heartbeat and let you know everything is okay... Always rather be safe than sorry
I had a doctors appointment on Monday and my doctor told me that i wasnt even dialated.
