Tight Uterus?

Hi!

I'm 17 wks 3 days and last night my uterus got very tight and hard feeling, i thought it would go away but it was still like that in the morning, i've had a subchorionic hematoma (diagnosed at 9 wks) that was getting smaller last time I had an U/S (at 14 wks) and i've stopped spotting, but now i'm worried if the tightness in my uterus is from bleeding behind the placenta.  Has anyone else felt this hardness in their uterus that stayed there for that long?  I also haven't been able to feel the baby move at all yet either...

I agree with nsrchofbaby. I do know that Braxton Hicks contractions begin as early as 6 weeks pregnant. But contractions only last seconds, not hours. You may have strained something. No matter what definitely call and get seen right away, especially if it hasn't let up yet.

While I know it's normal to not feel fetal movement at this phase, I don't think that a uterine contraction that doesn't subside is. You should definitely call your dr and get a professional opinion. Good luck.
