WARNING!! beginning of labor story

Okay, so last night baby wasn't moving like usual.. so i thought well i'll wait til morning to see how she acts. She did a couple kicks.. it got me worried because she's usually really active. I call my doc.. she tells me to eat A spoon full of grape jelly (because i didnt have candy) then drink water .. walk around a little then if she doesn't move in 20mins call back. So, my baby doesn't move. Probably 1 kick.. i called back she said come to L&D keep in mind i've had no symptoms during pregnancy & its been a breeze. Just braxton hicks and it didnt come with pain just tightening. I get to L&D they hook me up or whatever.. tells me im having contractions but, cervix is still closed.(im only 35 weeks & 6 days) Do a ultrasound and notice that i dont have a lot of fluid on baby & that can cause me to have a still birth because she wasn't moving often and low fluid. So, they come in & tell me im being admitted.. OMG.. i never knew it was gonna happen like this. Im being induced today.. it happened so soon , im telling you ladies PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BABY & PACK EARLY. Im no where near finished organizing or anything. Didnt have to diaper bag ready or nothing... so they took blood and im waiting to be moved to my room for induction.... TO BE CONTINUED

Im glad that your doing fine . Im pregnant with my second child and I had a still birth with my first child due to heart problems where it was too much fluids around the heart so a lil different im my case but im glad your fine

I haven't felt any contractions just tightening on my stomach, her movement was less than usual.. & i know her cycles so i came in. Thank you ladies.

I got told the same thing today at my appt. gotta go back 2morrow morning to see if the fluid increased & if it didn't I'll get induced as well. good luck hope everything goes good.

Wow, this scares me. I'm glad everything is good with y'all. We're you not feeling your contractions?? Because I've been having this strong feeling that she is coming soon, already had one labor scare. Soo get movement was unusual, like less than normal or not at all? Because I haven't been feeling get move very much today :/

Oh my thank you for posting!!! I'm 34 weeks now and already had an early labor scare so I'm looking for any sign something is happening haha. Wishing you a great delivery, healthy baby and a speedy recovery :) please keep us updated!
