I wouldn't wash everything because you don't know if you will use everything. I washed 50% of everything and left tags on the others. That way I can exchange what he doesn't use for bigger stuff. Also only washed one outfit for NB in case my baby is big and don't fit. I have a washer/dryer so if he's small I'll throw a load in
Babys can break out easily and besides in stores things r picked over, stepped on, dragged on the floor and the ppl at the store just pick it up and put it back on the rack. If the clothes came in an enclosed pack then no need.
Alot of ppl do because they dont wany there baby skin to break out because the clothes travel it like would u buy underwear and just put them on u wash them
I am because you never know who touched those clothes at the store and coughed all over them. And where ever those clothes were made weather it was China or America they were in some sort of factory setting with more people touching them and they are in boxes or crates and shipped to stores where even more people touch them. Plus I was told clothing manufactures spray the clothing with some sort of chemical so they don't wrinkle I don't know of that is true or not though. But I wash all.my new clothes before wearing them because there is excess dyes on them as well when you first buy them and washing them gets rid of the excess dyes. Im washing all my new clothes for my baby I think it's a preference but I am just to be cautious.
everybody in the store touches them, with hands who have been who knows where. just like to wash before baby come so that i know where and who have touched what they will be wearing when they are so little.
