Weight Gain...

Pre-pregnancy I weighed 272. At my March 15th appointment I weighed 279. I was 19 + 5. Is this okay? How much did you gain by the halfway point in pregnancy?

I've gained 22lbs so far, my Dr has not said anything Bout my weight so far, but Im worried because I think 30lbs was my limit for my size and I'm only 8 pounds from that!! I'm almost 30 weeks, Idk if this is good or bad.

I was 244 pre pregnancy and I am 255 at 31 weeks so I've gained 11 lbs and my doc is super pleased with that. I'm supposed to gain no more then 20 lbs if possible.

I weighed 130 pre pregnancy, half way through I was at 138.
I'm 36+2 now, and weigh 148.
Its all person and body type dependant.
Averages defintely help get a good guide line, but its not always rigid.
Usually your doctor would know best for anyone specific person :)

I'm 17 weeks and have lost almost 10 lbs due to severe morning sickness and have only gained a lb back. :/ I was small to begin with, now its way worse. Trying a new anti-nausea med though so hopefully it helps!

I was 290 pre pregnancy and went to doctor yesterday at 22 weeks and was 286. It was also my first time meeting the high risk attending, she said since I was considered obese pre pregnancy I'm to gain no weight. I would just ask your doctor what he/she recommends.

That's very good. Usually they want you to gain between 25-30lbs if you're average weight, overweight is usually about 15-20lbs, so either way you're good! :) I gained about 6-7 by my halfway point.
