I have a cyst on my right ovary. Im currently 5w4d in my first pregnancy. Could cysts pose any rick to the baby? Im probably worried about nothing but its a scary thing when you don't know..

My o.b. did my ultrasound about around that time she insured me everyone gets those until the ambilicolecord (sp?) comes in and the cyst will dissolve.

I think you will be a-okay, most cysts dissolve on their own. I had emergency surgery to remove two of mine last year, as they were pulling down one of my ovaries.. but it was such a rare situation & I was totally fine regardless. When I usually get them nothing happens, they just shrink. Just talk to your doc about it & keep watching them :-)
