Weight Question...

I'm 26 weeks and I've gained 16 pounds, my doctor said that I was "growing nicely" but I should be fasting, not eating or drinking anything after midnight except water. So does that mean that I should be concerned about gaining to much weight before my little boy is born?

I've always been pretty active for the most part and even with my sometimes constant cravings, it isn't hard for me to watch what I eat. I just wasn't sure if that amount of weight gain was something to be concerned about at only 26 weeks, but thanks so much ladies. You've helped me out  :)

@april0_0 I do the same.
But @sammie_caleb i dont think they should have told you that. It is true that you do not want to gain so much weight, but ive always been told if your really hungry during thr night EAT! lol atleast something lite such as crakers, cheese, celery, etc. Just to take the hungry monster away & help you sleep.
Im 29weeks & have gained 9lbs so far.

I don't think you should really worry about that.
After 12 it is probably better to only have water.
I stop eating at 9/10pm and only drink water throughout the night.

I'm 25 weeks and 5 days I've gained 26 pounds and to be honest I feel that you shouldn't be concerned about that little bit of weight. I'd be more concerned if you wasn't gaining but a little. I started out at 121 and now I weight 147. As long as you stay active. Eat whatever u want.
