Weight gain

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I have not gained any weight. I have actually lost 8 pounds. I am on the bigger side anyways but I'm not huge or obese. My mom told me she only gained 3 pounds with my brother who was a month early and 16 pounds with me. Should I be worried or call the doctor? I'm a ftm so I worry about everything. And I eat all the time too!

I didn't gain anything till I was 35weeks , I gained a total of 12lbs. As long as the dr says the baby is growing and is at the expected size, you will be fine.

I lost weight, too.  I didn't gain any weight until 18 weeks but the baby was doing just fine.  Don't worry.  The doctor said that it was okay.

The first three months you aren't expected to gain any weight. As long as you are eating healthy and staying active I would not worry about the weight loss either, Especially if you are over weight.
