I agree that your doctor will be keeping an eye on your weight and it does depend on your pre-pregnancy weight whether or not a loss is something to be concerned about.
In my first trimester I ate what/when ever I craved something. Eat little snacks instead of meals.
It's not at all uncommon to lose some weight at the beginning of the pregnancy due to nausea. Don't worry, but do tell your doctor all your symptoms. Try eating saltine crackers before you get out of bed. Good luck :) Congratulations!
It all depends on your body type and pre pregnancy weight (over / under weight) too. The dr. will keep an eye on you I am sure.
Thats normal! I'm 28 weeks an I still have not gained. I lost 10 pounds in the 1st trimester even though I never threw up... ever. Nothing taste good to me so I never wanted to eat. I was told at my last dr's apointment that I have gained the 10 pounds back... putting me back at my start weight. So I still have not "gained". My baby boy is healthy and is the perfect weight. So don't worry its normal! Anita
It is normal...as long as you are eating and not vomiting any more, your weight gain should slowly start...in the beginning of the second trimester, anything from a half a pound to a pound should be good every week or so...Good luck!
It is normal since the mourning sickness really dont make you hungry.
Since your eating now, the wt should start picking up. What i did was i ate 6 small meals and tried crackers and white soda when i was nauseasted.
Good luck, keep me informed
