Weird Question..
Is it safe to have a pet turtle while pregnant or around the baby?
^^^ agreed.. washing your hands religiously after handling it and when you change the cage bedding ...and I wouldn't let a baby hold it for the same reason...
Turtles can carry salmonella so its best to wash your hands thoroughly and I wouldn't let the child play with the turtle.
