I tested positive for gbs ....im worried i somewhat googled it but it doesnt explain how u get it...

Don't worry I found out last week I tested positive too but I have faith everything will turn out good & have faith as well good thing they can give us antibiotics through iv reduce the chance only thing is until we go in labor they can give it to us but don't worry relax

Its just a naturual bacteria that anyone can get. Nothing you did or didnt do. Someyimes it makes its way to the birth canal. I had it my last pregnancy. As long as they can get at least one round of antibiotics during labor and before delivery than its almost always nothing. Its rare they dont get the antibiotics in in time, doesnt take long. Some pediatricians will make you stay 48 hours at the hospital just to make sure babys ok
