What do contractions feel like?

I'm 28 weeks and a ftm and I've been getting pains through my stomach and back and it feels like its tightening up. Can anyone help me, it's making me nervous

Yeah you are having braxton hicks it just getting your body for the baby. The real contractions last for 1 to 2 mins. long. And will come more often in the hour and are more painful than the braxton hicks.

they are more than likely braxton hicks which are just practice contractions, they are usually painless and irregular, feels like the baby is balling up or your stomach getting tight which usually would not last longer than 30 sec or so

I will drink lots if water, I'm too early to have my baby, he/she needs to stay put for at least another ten weeks

I just looked online and i don't think it's contractions, it's not like menstrual cramps and its my whole stomach

When I had contractions it was only in my back an baby was still moving but mine's where because I  was dehydrated but i was told if it happened more then five times in a hour go to l&d

It comes and goes but it lasts a long time each time, I will try drinking more water, baby is still moving tho

Sounds like it may be contractions,is it a constant. pain or do it come and go ?? In the meantime drink plenty of water to make sure you aren't dehydrated!
