What do contractions feel like?

Can anyone give me an idea of what contractions will feel like ? Like where and what kind of pain( sharp, achy, etc). I'm 30wks6days and I have no idea what to expect. Besides a lot of pain lol.

for me it felt like really bad gas pain, sharp and in the lower abdomen. i had light contractions for about 2 weeks before and kept asking ppl what they felt like, but when it gets closer you will know. also when my water broke it felt like was about to have really bad diarhea so i jumped out of bed and boom water everywhere. hope that helps. sorry its a little tmi but its prety accurate
