What do you think?

Being happy throughout pregnancy equals happy, smiley, laughing baby...
& being sad throughout pregnancy equals sad, crying, fussy baby.

The way you are could effect how the baby turns out???

Well, your baby IS likely to be grumpy if you're mostly grumpy.

But it doesn't have to do with environment in the womb,  it has to do with genetic personality.

Thanks!
A friend is trying to convince me that my baby will be grumpy cuz I'm mostly grumpy.

In her first pregnancy she was grumpy all the time and now she has a grumpy toddler
In her second pregnancy she was laughing all the time and now she has a happy baby that is always smiling and laughing

Nope, not true.  You'll find babies have their own personalities and dispositions and you won't be able to trace it to much.  Other than things like if you are highly anxious in your life (not just in pregnancy), your child may be.  If you are happy go lucky, your child may be.  Personality traits can run in families.  But having good or bad things in pregnancy does not define the personality or disposition of a baby.  good luck

I was miserable with my first child. Always sick, constant headaches bad oily skin and greasy hair... But I have the happiest little boy ever! Always got a smile just a grump around bed time lol

Definitely wouldn't say that is the case. A lot of women have awful and unhappy pregnancies.

I know a mom's stress can affect baby but mostly I think it's because stress equals physical tension and that's what baby experiences...not sure about the emotional aspect.
