Do contractions feel like? I know every woman is different, and alota women say u will know when it happens..but readin these posts makes it seem like alota women have really dnt know, sometimes until the hospital confirms they're in labor. I'm a ftm, almost 38 wks.. need ur experience ladies.
Btw I'm 2cm dilated n 50% effaced as of last week

Nah they aren't frequent or extremely painful. just a sharp pain here n there that goes away. N for me bh feels like my tummy ballin up n gettin really tight and hard. It doesn't hurt but its a lil uncomfortable sometimes.

If u need to stop what u doing and breath through it then go in also if u geting alot of thoughs but I dont think u have to go in if they arnt bothering u how often are you having them ?? I never had bh so I dontknow they ffeeling

They feel like really really bad cramps that to me seemed like they were hugging my lower tummy with all their force so like really painfull period cramps that is how everyone told me it felt and sure enough thatbis how they feltbi was like you with my first I would get mad with my doctor wen il ask and they wouldn't explain

I've been having a lot of tightening in my uterus lately but i assume its braxton hicks cuz they don't hurt.

Once i could feel them consistently it feel like tightening and my cervix ripping open. I was induced though so they were very intense at 3 cm dilated.
