What would I put for my baby's "race"?

I just now started to think about this because I to the hospital for some pains (everything is all good tho) but while I was there they went ahead and pre-registered me so whenever go back to give birth. But the nurse asked asked me what's i wanted to put as my baby's race. She told me not to worry about my fiancé race and just go with mine. I'm bi racial tho half black and half Mexican and my fiancé is white... and i don't understand why there's not a option for bi racial or multiracial. But i just wanted some opinions.
What would you choose for race??

My kids dont have a race on their birth certificate.  The paperwork didnt even have that question on it.

I would think to put "hispanic" its goes by both races mother and father

Idk if other is a option.. The nurse just asked me questions and filled it out on the computer.
That's what I thought but according to the nurse i had it goes by the mothers.

Im Mexican and white. I always put Hispanic or other. My son will be Mexican white and German lol. Im putting "other" if it is an option :)
