pregnant and spotting

So going on 3 days now, I been having brown discharge and spotting stringy-like brown clots. I do have back pain and slight cramping. Do you ladies have any ideas why? My EDD is Sept 2 so I should be 7 w 6 d. Yesterday I went to the e.r. they did an ultrasound and some blood work. They said I am measuring roughly 6 weeks and my hcg levels are good for how I am measuring. Also they told me that they see a sac but no fetus. Dr. also said that it may be too early to see a fetus or that the fetus is too small. Crushed my heart completely and started crying all the way home. They did not say anything about this spotting that I am having. Ugh, I am just a mess right now. I am put on bed rest until I my follow up appointment with my obgyn on Tuesday to check my hcg levels to see if they are going up or down to determine if I am going to miscarry. Any ladies out there that have experienced this or is going through this know why this is happening? Please. I am desperate for any answers or ideas why..

I spotted for 4 weeks straight at the beginning. From 4 weeks til 8 weeks. Had my 12 week scan everything was fine, then at 14 weeks had a massive blood loss, rushed to hospital, the baby was absolutely fine still. They never found why or where the bleeding came from. But im 17 weeks 5 days now and feel my baby daily. Just try to relax hun, i am sure everythings fine

Thanks for the tip about no soda.. I will definitely stop asap.. mostly been drinking water but have a cup of soda once a day so thanks.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I was about 5 weeks pregnant and I bled, not just discharge. I went to the ER and everything seemed fine. Saw a doctor the next day, told me there was no baby. Scheduled me for a D&C (to scrape everything out) I was so depressed and didn't believe it. Saw another doctor when I was 7 weeks and I saw my baby. I had the brown and pink discharge for almost 3 weeks while on bedrest and now I haven't had any for 5 days. Don't stress, relax, no soda, no sex, just plain bed rest.

I also had that around 7 weeks. But turns out baby was great and it was a uti. Which is very common im prrgnancy. Try not to stress to much momma im sure its fine. I use to always wprry and now im 16 weeks 5 days and still do but my babys is doing great. I hope you feel better :)

I also had this for a week straight it was only when I would go to the bathroom and wipe I too went to the emergency room and every thing was good I'm due Aug 30 so I'm 8 weeks 2 days now according to my last period I haven't spotted now in 5 days my mom is a nurse and thinks maybe I'm not as far along as we thought and that it was implantation bleeding I hope this gave you hope

oh forgot to mention its only when I go to restroom and wipe. nothing on panty liner.
