What's the difference?

Is there any significant difference between over the counter prenatal vitamins and the ones your doctor prescribes? My doctor offered me a prescription for prenatal vitamins but I've already bought some from Walgreens.

My doc gave me a script but I was already taking organic prenatals I got myself. Honestly I don't think it matters as long already your taking them. I stuck with mine.

For me the ones I bought made me motion sick the ones my doctor gave me were just slightly different and whatever was making me sick isn't in these, so for me atleast there was a big difference

Maybe better quality? It's a good question I don't think there's a big difference though

I already had a few bottles because I was pregnant last year, so it wasn't any money out of my pocket this time. I just wondered why they prescribe them v. Selling them at the stores. Surely there is a difference if one needs a prescription and the other one doesn't. I'll probably call him tomorrow and ask

My doctor prescribed me some the day I found out I was pregnant, I don't know if there's a difference but I would rather take what I have rather than buying them at a drugstore...
