Whats the longest?!
I dont wanmt to retype the whole story but whats the longest youve neen or known someone who has bern in early labor? And can labor be causing my horrible side ache? My right side started hurting first then thef contractions stsrted, pls refer to my post ( back from hospital stay questions) i see the doc today but i think that shes just going to check my cervix. But this morning im having veru few contractions but that side pain is back w a vengence!

My family aint helpful either haha! Proper heavy contractions can barely move, Still gotta have my brother and sister all day, everyday!! LOL.
I hopes they get better, and or end soon but its all worth it in the end :)

They take the edge off but they are heavy narcotics soo i hate taking them cause i get loopy! All i know is if i brcome in as much pain as i was monday i will lose it. Morphine didnt even completely help the pain. Now im just in pain all the time but tolerable. Thanks for letting me vent. My family has nern so helpful i hate complaining to them so i just vent here!
Oh... Are they just letting you wait it out then? Are the pain meds working?

I guess there guideline is 34+ weeks. They wont stop labor at that point. Plus w ultrasound and belly measurement and just by feeling baby is measuring 37 weeks almost 38. I have a histiry of big babies. My amniotic fluid is also very high. Above 20-25 is high average and mine is now measuring 29. So there only conclusion at this point my uterus has just about had enough!
They wont do that since im almost 35 weeks and my contractions were off the chart every two min and they said obviously something eelsr is going on cause two vaginal births and i never experienced that pain!! Oo well i guess ill just have to keep on keepin on the contractions are very painful still but nothing like they were mon n tuesday.. Uuuuggghhhhhhhhh!
I was having Contactions ever 4 mins, and It was baasically bad BH, I couldnt breathe or move because my Right side hurt like a b i t c h. I had a vaginal swab test done to see if I was going to go into labour within 10 days. You can ask to have that?

Well i just got back from the doc and no cervical change. They did a NST and had a hard time keeping the monitor on baby for some reason so they are doing a biophysical profile tomoorow morning. Still contracting around every 8 min he said the biggest risk at this point is placental abruption.
Im not sure whats going on thats what i apprieciate any input. All i know is monday at three i woke up feeling like someone punched me in my side middle abdomin. From there it got way worse so i drove myself to er. Then they put me on the monitor and i started contracting every four minutes shortly after then they became teo minutes apart and very painful and the pain inbetween became worse and after being transferred to a diff hosp via ambulance and a bunch of tests and being on morphine the contractions spaced out at about 5 am and i got sent home at 5 pm w pain meds and yold to wait n see whay happens.
I got a kidney stone during my first pregnancy that felt a lot like what you are describing. It was tiny, but it hurt like labor.
I forgot to add that I didn't have any pain that was one sided when I got contractions. I had a bit of back labour. So my back would first tense up and then it would wrap around the front of my uterus.
I had my baby 2 weeks ago and I would have contractions on and off for a couple days before if that helps any.
Maybe you've pulled a ligament? If it's only one sided it could be that.

They gave me an ultrasound of my organs and a cat scan but everything looked normal but they said organs are hard to see during pregnancy since they are all squished together. I just know i have a pretty high pain tolerance and this is a lot of pain! I dont understand how i contracted for almost 24 hrs two minutes apart and had barely any cervical change. I feel like my body is trying to tell me something ya know? Cause the right sided pain started at 3 am on monday morning and my contractions started at 11 am on monday.
Did they check your appendix? Problems with that are very common during pregnancy and it is one of the most common surgeries during pregnancy. As far as labor, I was dialated to a 5 for almost a week before, after me pitching a fit, they finally induced me. Sorry your going through this. Good luck.
