When could you hear the hb on a doppler?

I got my new doppler in the mail today and I am so excited to use it, but since I'm right at 10 weeks I know it probably won't be for awhile.

How many weeks were you before you could hear the hb on a doppler?

I got mine at bellybeats.com and i have found the heart beat pretty fast each time :) im currently 11wks but got it at 9wks

I have heard 10-12 weeks, and both of the doctors I had waited until 12 weeks to use theirs.  At 8 weeks I had the trans-vaginal U/S, so we saw the heartbeat, but didn't hear it w/ the doppler until the next appointment at 12 weeks.

with my at home doppler I couldnt hear his hb until 13 weeks. However my placenta is in the front so if it wasnt I maybe could have heard it earlier?

I heard the hb at 10weeks. It took a while to find it though. I used the doppler again the other day at 13w3d and heard the heartbeat right away!! Baby has definitely moved up. I have a dr appt tomorrow, I'll be 14 weeks exactly!!

I heard mine at 8wks 5days but my doc said its usually not that early i got mine from belly beats and its the same as the docs :) good luck

I have always heard like 12 to 13 weeks.  I am sure it can vary some but that is what I have always heard.  That is normally when my doc begins to listen.  Before then, he does a transvag u/s.

You might be able to but more like 12 weeks.  Will be really low down by the bladder area and around.  It will sound like a gallop.  A whooshing sound is the placenta.  Have fun!

I was around 9 1/2 to 10 weeks. It took me soooo long to find it though.

I got a sonoline b and I could hear my baby's heartbeat the day it came in the mail.  I was 10 weeks 3 days.  Good luck.  Try directly under your belly button and right at your pubic bone. :)

I don't know if yours is of same quality as the doctor's, but i was able to hear it at 9 wks. I am a small girl i suppose so it's easier to hear it earlier. I think i read that about 12 wks is normally when women first hear it.
