I worked at Disney for 2 years I just applied back and have a interview on Tuesday I'll be exactly 20 weeks I'm debating on should I tell them at my interview I just recently started showing so I don't know wat to do either
They can fire you and say it was for another reason. But Disney seems like an understanding company for the most part. As long as you're a good worker I doubt they'll care honestly.
I work at Disney world and thanks your info was super helpful ill def do that
They can't fire you for being pregnant but if she's going to be on her 90 probationary again, if they wanna be jerks they can come up with any little reason to fire you legally even though the real reason may be pregnancy. I think since it's only 3 days a week you should be okay.
I work at Disneyland too! They won't fire you! I didn't tell them till I was 24 weeks pregnant and after I got my maternity costume. I regret it bc scheduling didn't know so they were scheduling me every grad night till 3 am witch was ******. All you have to do is take a doctor's note into cast health that has your conception date, due date, and how many weeks exact you are. Let your managers know too then go get your maternity costume! And also you can stay as long as you want witch is a good idea bc us part timers don't get maternity pay so it's better to have the time off after than before. Talk to your managers about the bonding time witch gives you up to 6 months off after leave to come and go to work as you please. But you have to be there a year to qualify so hopefully they don't consider you new in that case. Where do you work?
Your employer can not fire you. Like the above said that would be discrimination and they can get in trouble for firing you over being pregnant. Also I told my employer when I.was 8 weeks due to the fact of Dr appointmens and it limited what I could do..& everyone was happy for me they all supported it!
They can't fire you over being pregnant, that's illegal. So I doubt someone like Disney would want any lawsuits or anything about firing someone for being pregnant. If I were you I'd tell them soon because most people don't work until 38 or 40 weeks even though they try to so even though you have about 20 weeks left they don't have that long to figure out what they're going to do when you're gone
yayy disney lol disney land or world? and I told my employer around that time.... I told him I needed a bigger shirt... like really big lol and he got the hint and asked but I dnt think they can fire you
I honestly do not think they can fire you for that, that's considered discrimination against pregnant women. And if you're only working in resturaunt now then I don't see an issue.
