When to stop working

I just wanted to know are you still working? I'm 27 Weeks and dred going in to work. I am a nurse at a rehabilitation center and work full time. The work is not hard its just that i want to be at home in the bed. I plan on cutting my hours when i am 32 Weeks but feel like i can't make it working that long.

With both my previous pregnancies I worked until I went into labor. Literally. I worked on my feet full time. It's manageable! Just hang in there!

My doctor recommends working for as long as you can. If you are having a healthy pregnancy, no reason you can't work to the very end.

Most full-time workers have to be careful if you're in the U.S. in particular because we only get 3 months off under the FMLA law. So if you were to stop at 32 weeks and your baby came at 41 weeks, you'd have to go back to work when the baby was 3 weeks old, or quit your job. Most doctors won't even sign off on it that early, and you need the paperwork filled out to do it. I've been home since the end of my 30th week but only because I've had serious complications, even then it was complicated and I wouldn't have been able to do it if I didn't teach (so I have summers off) and the baby just happed to be due in June.
