Wow i can't imagine having to work at a job up until my due date... I always leave Weeks before... My situation is different tho i am a mother of there and wife and that does require me to work up until my due date.. Lol! As for my job i have no problem leaving and finding another one....
With both my previous pregnancies I worked until I went into labor. Literally. I worked on my feet full time. It's manageable! Just hang in there!
My doctor recommends working for as long as you can. If you are having a healthy pregnancy, no reason you can't work to the very end.
Most full-time workers have to be careful if you're in the U.S. in particular because we only get 3 months off under the FMLA law. So if you were to stop at 32 weeks and your baby came at 41 weeks, you'd have to go back to work when the baby was 3 weeks old, or quit your job. Most doctors won't even sign off on it that early, and you need the paperwork filled out to do it. I've been home since the end of my 30th week but only because I've had serious complications, even then it was complicated and I wouldn't have been able to do it if I didn't teach (so I have summers off) and the baby just happed to be due in June.
I am on feet all day long and unforunatly I have to work all the way until a week before my dd then I have to go back 7 weeks after my dd. I'm sure I can find the strength to do and you will too.
36 Weeks that's good.... I'll have to see ....i'm on my feet alot. so i don't know if I can do it.
I know a girl who iscurrently still working she's 36 wks like me. I guess it's kinda up to you and your boss and the work your doing
