When u go for ur prenatal appt

Why do we have to leave a urine sample everytime we go in for prenatal checkup? What r they checking for?

They check for protein levels in your urine, if you have high blood pressure as well as urine it's a symptom of pre-eclampsia.

They check for like bladdar infection or protein in urine. N for gestational diabetes

They are checking for protein in your urine. If you have pre eclampsia the protein in your urine would alert them to that.

Checking protein levels and checking to see if you have a uti. and something else I think I can't remember
