When was your first ultrasound-sonogram?

When was your first sonogram? They gave me mine for when the baby turns 11 weeks. Am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I remember with my first son I was able to get a baby sonogram pic at my first obgyn visit. Maybe they not doing it anymore and I was around 9 weeks.

With my 7.6 weeks scan all you could see wa like some little alien with tiny tiny arms and legs. I wasn't offered a scan photo and I didn't ask as It was uncomfortable as the sonography nurse didn't speak to me the whole way through x

I had my first at 8 weeks. I think 11 weeks is better though because you can see a more developed fetus. Might even get a peak at the gender?

I had a dating scan at 7weeks and 6 days as I had no idea how many weeks I was as I have pcos and don't really get periods. You should ask if you can have one I'm sure they would say yes. With my first pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage they gave me a picture and I wa 5 weeks it was just a sac with the feral pole in it.

I called and the lady said is best for you to have a sonogram at 11 weeks. Am not sure why if my first pregnancy they gave me sonogram pics at around 8-9 weeks pregnant
