You can see your doctor without a parent. Doctors have rules, called HIPPA, where they cannot share your personal medical information with anyone, including your parents. It's also known as doctor-patient confidentiality.

If you can call the doctor and find a way to get there, I don't see why you can't bring your concerns.

I think you DO need parental consent for things like Birth Control but you can see your doctor about your period concerns and get a pap smear (all sexually active women should get them every year).

I see that you are only 15 years old.  When I was 15, my periods weren't regular.  This might be the case for you, too.  If you are concerned, you should see your doctor.

Well, you do get bloated when you are on your period, I am right now and my stomach feels "hard". The chart basically shows you how the range of how low or high your hcg levels would be if you were pregnant, based off your last menstrual period (LMP). Basically I put it on there just for information for you, not that it has anything to do with your situation, but you did say something about the hcg levels in one of your posts.

joyrenee- i took the test 7 days after i missed my period,do you think it would be accurate?

smjmekg-i dont understand the chart really, sorry.
and wow that makes me feel alot better, but if i get into a relioship where i want to have sex i will ask my mom and tell her and ask her if i can go on birth control.

and i plan on taking another test on the 11, but see i just went to the bathroom and i still dont have my period but this may sound dumb but i think my tummy is getting harder. :/

The level of HCG is different for every person. I found this...

3 weeks LMP 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
non pregnant 55-200 ng/ml

It's been long enough since your last period that you should have a positive. Like I said before, you could always buy another test or go back to the clinic to take another test if it makes you feel better, but I'm about 99.9% sure you're not pregnant. Any time you have sex you could get pregnant, but just because you have sex doesn't mean you will get pregnant. On average, a healthy couple who are actually trying every month to get pregnant, they only have a 20% chance of actually conceiving, and it can take up to a year for a healthy TRYING couple to get pregnant. So the odds are against you since you were using protection, but just keep in mind that nothing is 100% proof, except not having sex at all. The more protection you use the lower your chances are. I know you said you don't want to have sex anymore, but in case you do, you really should consider birth control, on a plus side you'll know when your period will be every month, so you can plan around it. But besides birth control try condoms with spermicide.

I used to work at a pregnancy center that used those tests and they are very accurate when your period is due or late.

some how i understand all that
it makes alot of sence,
so after a month after sex if i take a test at a clince it should be pretty accrute? i know your body can let off different amounts of hcg, i read that after 19 days you let of 100 hcgs or something like that?
i just dont want to go to the doctor so for sure im not prego and than find out im.
and thats how i feel im so worried about it im having symptoms.

the one at the clince in were you urinate in a cup and than put 5 drops on this little thing and than you wait 4 mins and than you look.

HCG is the pregnancy hormone. As soon as an egg implants it starts releasing this hormone. Let me explain a little. You have a cycle that starts the day your period starts, and ends the day before your next period. During this time, roughly 14 days before your next period you ovulate. Some women ovulate later or earlier, if your egg is not fertilized it sheds with the rest of the lining of your uterus when you have your period. If it is fertilized it takes between 6 and 12 days to implant, once implantation happens it releases the HCG hormone which is what a pregnancy test detects. I've never heard of a woman not having this hormone when she's pregnant. Like JoyRenee said, pregnancy symptoms are associated with many different things. Some women can experience pregnancy symptoms and confuse it with PMS, because they are similar, for example, sore breasts, cramping, nausea, headaches...there's many different symptoms. Some women don't experience symptoms at all when they get pregnant. My neighbor had no symptoms at all and didn't think she had gotten pregnant, went to the doctor for blood work, and she was pregnant. It's hard to base pregnancy off symptoms alone, it's all very confusing but the only way to be sure is to test. Some women do not show up on home pregnancy tests until they are further in their pregnancy, but tests (urine) that doctors do, are usually more sensitive and more accurate than at home tests, the most accurate is a blood test. You could just be having pms, and it really could be in your mind that you are feeling this way because you are worried about being pregnant. I've had scares where I thought I was pregnant when I was around 18-19 and thought I felt pregnant, but it was all in my head because I was worrying I started to "notice symptoms".

Don't read into the symptoms. Pregnancy symptoms are very common and can be associated with a multitude of different things.

Your friend may have taken the tests too early. But since you took a test 8 days after your period was supposed to start and had a clinic do a test, then it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. It is more likely to get a false positive than a false negative. If you were pregnant you should have gotten a positive now. If it makes you feel better wait another week and take another test, but I'm sure it will be negative and that you're not pregnant.

No. I don't think you are pregnant. I know how it feels when you've had people tell everyone else things, and all the rumors. It's horrible, I know. If you need to talk and don't want to talk to your mom, you can send me a message any time. Just click on my name and there's a place to send messages on my profile. Anything you need to talk about, whether it's being worried about pregnancy, or boys or whatever, you can send me a message anytime you need some help or just to vent.

If a guy says he'll only like you if you have sex with him, you don't need him to like you. Lots of guys say this, you'll see it a lot as you get older through school. You will eventually find someone who will like you for you and not just want to have sex. But like I said you are young, and you have a lot of life to live yet. You're a very smart young lady, don't be afraid to talk to your mom. I am a mother, and believe me I would love for my son and any other children I have to talk to me. I would rather know what's going on in my child's life, and for them to feel like they can talk to me. I know it's hard to talk to your parents, but parents really do want you to talk to them.

I don't think you are pregnant, after all the tests it seems highly unlikely. In my honest opinion, I think you should wait to have sex until you are a bit older. There are lots of consequences that could come from sex, not only pregnancy, but so many STDs. You're a young girl, enjoy being a kid, yes I know you're probably going to say "I'm not a kid, I'm a teenager" But keep that in mind. You are a teenager, there's plenty of time for sex. But it is your choice, and that is my opinion. BUT since you had all these tests and the earliest was 7 days after your period, you need to have your mom set up an ob/gyn appointment for you. If you're going to be sexually active you need to be getting checked yearly by a doctor, and it could be something else delaying your period, or it's just your body getting regulated still. It takes a while for your periods to really become regular, or they may always be irregular, mine have been for 11 years. You can discuss birth control with the doctor as well, and that could help regulate your period, and protect you against pregnancy. If you can tell your mom you have sex, then I'm sure she'd be happy to discuss birth control with you. I'm willing to bet that she'd be happier doing that then you telling her she's going to be a grandmother :) Sorry if I offended you saying you are a teenager/kid, but I'm only 23 and I can clearly remember those days...don't grow up too fast or you'll regret it later. I also wrote this under your other post.
