Will my pregnancy be normal

I am a 21 year old female. I found out last week I was pregnant after getting bad pain's down the right side mostly of my lower stomach and groin area that were sharp and constant. I had missed my period but after getting the blood test I started bleeding mostly when I wipe my vaginal area there is blood like that of a period. The pain has been on and off and I was in hospital last night when I was told to return if the pain worsened. The hormone level dropped from 61 to 32 in a day and I am waiting to get another blood test in a week. I still have bad bleeding and pain and have been resting for the few day's. I am emotionally drained as I want to know whether there is any chance my baby will be ok. The doctor at the hospital said she has seen it decrease and rise again but I am worried as the pain and bleeding continue's. It was first thought to be an etopic pregnancy but that was ruled out for the time

YES- try to miscarry naturally! If you get a D&C they will scrape your uterus out to almost nothing and it will take a few cycles to really get the lining built back up (in the event you get pregnant again during that time, you could miscarry again without appropriately thick uterine lining).

Our bodies know what to do. Your levels are so low that you probably have already passed the embryonic tissue.

*HUGS*

I've had 2 miscarriages. The physical pain is nothing compared to the emotional pain of losing a baby, no matter how young and small they were. Please know that your bleeding may last for a couple of weeks and it may come and go. It can take an average of 6 weeks to get a period (it took me 8 weeks both times).

And most doctors recommend waiting 1-3 periods before trying to have another baby again.

when i had my miscarriage i started a period 2 weeks after i was done bleeding from the miscarriage then my doctors advised me to wait 3 months until i started to try again and 2 months after that we conceived and the baby is doing fine in the belly at  17 weeks! I chose to miscarry naturally but some doctors would recommend the pill that helps the process or the d&c it is a personal choice!  I wish you the best and I am sorry for your loss.  No in most cases a miscarriage does not mean you will have another one, until i had my miscarriage i had no clue that half the people i actually new had them to.

Thank you, I found out today after another trip to the hospital that my level has dropped again this time to 14 and is almost gone. I am really emotional over this as me and my partner were trying for a baby. I have had alot of bleeding and the doctor gave me morphine for the pain and fluid's and told me that I am having a miscarriage. Does anyone know am I meant to let it come out naturally??? Also when is my period due back and when are we able to start trying again. This does not mean complications again does it, it is possible for a normal pregnancy later??

So sorry you are going through this, unfortunately I have to agree with the other girls too. Heavy bleeding, bad pains, and dropping HCG levels don't sound good. I will keep you in my prayers. (((HUGS)))

Unfortunately, I agree with Joy.

Heavy bleeding during pregnancy is a very bad sign and dropping HCG levels is almost always a sign of miscarriage.  The fact you have both of these symptoms is not a good sign.

It sounds like a miscarriage and if that is the case, I am very sorry for your loss!
