Work...

I'm 26 weeks and I work a cashier job which is starting to become very stressful because standing has started to take a toll on me and I've noticed that my managers get kinda aggravated with them always having to give me a chair and working their overall is just becoming very uncomfortable. I really want to leave but I don't wanna be unemployed. My boyfriend works for a stock company and told me that they're hiring temps to work until September or October (I give birth in September) I really wanna apply and see if they'd hire me since its a sit down job and pays way more than the job I have now but my pregnancy is veerrryyyy noticeable and I'm just wondering if you guys think I should give it a shot? Or to just stay at my job cause most places don't really hire pregnant women?

I work in Lowes, so any other position would actually be worse because then I'd have to deal with lumber, appliances, and all that crap. It's just really aggravating me, and my managers have cut my hours a bit also since they see its hard for me to stand up all day. And I really wanna give this other job a call but I don't wanna waste my time...

I work in a supermarket and was on a department where I was constantly on my feet for 9 hours at a time (I work part time) and I wasn't allowed a chair. I had a word with managers and they transferred me onto checkouts as they have chairs down there and they also shortened my shifts and spread them out more over the week. Definitely worth having a word with the managers though hun. If that doesn't work then see about the other job? :)

I would talk to the managers at the job your currently working at. I'm not sure what kind of job if us but see if there is a department you can go to instead and sit down. I'm 27 weeks and I work in a retail store so I xo one rely understand where your coming from. I try to work more in the fitting room and sit in there to process clothes. If that doesn't work, try applying to this new job and explain to them how far you have left in your pregnancy. It's worth a shot just try and see. But because you only have a couple more weeks of your pregnancy they might not take you too. How long do u on working up until?
