I worked until noon the day I had my little girl! I was having contractions which I assumed were braxton hicks but I was really 4 cm at the time. I think as long as you feel fine , all the power to you to stick it out as long as you can If that is what you want

My mother is a neurosurgeon and started having contractions mid-operation. If you can handle it then its totally fine. Unless of course dr orders different.
