i dont understand.

Based on my missed period I'm 8 1/2 weeks pregnant based on my first ultrasound yesterday they think I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. How could this even make sense?

I wouldnt even worry about it because u very sly in the pregnancy...i got my due date change three times

Don't put much into the first ultrasound. That's just to establish a DD. the more accurate ones are 11/12 week scan, and the anatomy scan. My first u/s said I was due dec 10 but my more accurate DD is nov 20 based on the later scan.

If the ultrasound is more than 10 days off from your lmp, they'll change your due date. My due date is July 18th but by my ultrasound it was July 24th. Since it was only 6 days it was changed. If it was a few days more, it would've changed

My last period was march 24. My original due date was December 29 now it got pushed to January 10

That happened to me too. They changed it.from May 26th to June 7tb. U jus ovululated later than u thought.

I'm also 8w4d. my lmp was March 23. when was urs? they gave me a due date of December 28

You probably ovulated later than normal. With this pregnancy I was going by the first day of my last period as my due date until I had an ultrasound they told me it was 10 days off so they pushed my due date back ten days.
