i see mine every two or three weeks, i dont want to risk anything more. thats why im trying to go into labor. Im just hoping she comes soon, i dont want a big or sick baby, just breaks my heart..
They should have told you way before now . My moms friend had that and had to deliver her baby at 38 weeks I think . My moms sugar was high with my younger sis and had to deliver at 39 weeks . Baby can get to big sometimes . Normally you see the doc every week after 36 weeks till you deliver . I have with both pregnancies .
yess, but i dont get it. my vitamins i take have iron in them. and i eat beans and lentals, every other day..
anemia? that from lack of iron???
I havent had a single ultrasound other than my 18 week one, the rest have been because ive been in the e.r for being sick. I just see her on the monitor. They tell ke she looks fine i have good fluid, and she looks good. I iust hope she comes soon.
If your blood sugars are fine, your baby will be fine. So even though it is dumb they didn't tell you, if you've already been keeping an eye in your sugars and you're in range, your baby will be healthy. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and it really worried me, but it turned out that I eat a pretty well balanced diet most of the time and my sugars rarely spike. 37 weeks, just had an ultrasound and baby is healthy, and even slightly small instead of fat. :]
my godmother checks my blood every 3hrs, she has been doing that since i was a kidd, idk why. But she has dietbetes so she makes me check mine too. thats how ive tried to know and keep everything at its level.
everytime i see her, she says "good strong heartbeat, mesuring good" thats it.. its until the 29th of this month.. I dont see her every week..
As for anemia, that's really common in pregnancy and right after. If its not significantly low they'll probably just get you to take iron tablets and you'll probably have to have a blood test to check your iron levels have recovered after birth.
You should be going on a low carb diet and pricking your find 4 times a day, but since you are so far along I don't know if they still will make you do that.
Has baby been growing normally? Do you know if its big? If you were earlier I'd say they'll refer you to a nutrionist and get you to watch your sugar levels, but at 38wks maybe not. When do you have your next appointment?
