Yeast Infection??

I've was just wondering what are some common yeast infection symptoms? I just recently found out I'm pregnant and I've been particuarly itchy "down there". I'm really embarrassed and not sure if I need to go to a doctor or not. Are open sores a symptom??

The sores, im pretty sure, have nothing to do with a yeast infection. Its probably due to something else. I know your super embarrased. I was too, when I asked the doc about bumps (i wanted to die) but I felt so much better when she told me it was razor bumps lol. I so didnt want to ask, but I was more scared I would pass something on to the baby. You really need to ask your doc to.check. Trust me now that your pregnant, that area is not going to be so private.

I've never had sores when I had one. But sometimes a burning, itchy feeling, increase/change in discharge, and sometimes an odor. Sometimes you don't get these symptoms. I have one right now and I had no idea until my doctor told me when she checked me because I had no symptoms. You might want to ask your doctor because I am unsure about the sores. Those could be something else more severe, or they could be nothing. Better to be safe than sorry. Don't be embarrassed. Doctors are more than happy to check you out to make sure everything down there is okay and they will recommend a good OTC medication, or prescribe you something to help it.
