Yeast Infection
Is there any home remedies that are safe in pregnancy to get rid of a yeast infection? I have already had it twice ans took that one day pill form of it. Just found out its listed as category c so that kind of annoyed me how my dr just acted like it was completely safe. I also really dont want to shoot medicine up there because it just sounds really difficult... any suggestions??

the only reason why I've never used monistat or anything like that was because depending on your body, it could make it worse.
I tried something in the past that made my yeast infection wayyyyyy worse, and I swore I'd never self-treat ever, ever, ever again.. I was prescribed something else that I had to inject in my vagina for 3 or 4 nights once.. I'll NEVER remember the name of that though. maybe bring that up to your OB?

Yeast infections can get really bad and come back if not properly taken care of. I'd just take the monistat and get rid of it.
Fluconazole is what they gave me the last two times. Im just scared to take it again because i havent heard good things about it and this would be the third time having to take it.
oh, and I don't swallow pills.. so I would sort of chew it up & drink while chewing it up.. (just in case you can't take pills).. that pill worked wonders.

there's a pill I used to get from my gyno.. Fluconazole is the name, if I'm not mistaken.
I haven't had to take it while pregnant though (this is my 1st), so I'd just ask my OB about it.. along with that pill, I'd just eat a lot of yogurt. not sure if it ACTUALLY helps or not, but that's what I've always done.. oh, and NEVER ever ever ever put yogurt in your vagina! some people say/think plain yogurt helps, but you can make it wayyyyyy worse.. just in case you come across that on google!!! lol
