If it is just a yeast infection he can use monistat cream. It's marketed for women because we got them more but they still work for guys. Just have him apply it for 7 days and make sure he keeps himself clean.

I wouldn't have him use your cream, usually it's just enough to cover you and definitely get him treated, because it will pass back and forth, even if he doesn't have symptoms he might still have one.

If it does cause you to burn though and it doesnt go away then there might be something else. Monistat 7 didnt hurt me at all so I love it but one time I had tried using Vagisil and that burns like hell because there's something in it that Im not allergic to perse but has a negative effect lol

As long as you treat it, it won't affect your baby. I would treat with monistat or the knock off of it works just as good. Take right before bed, wear a pad, and make sure to get the one with the external creme like JewlezD said. It works great it will help so much and you won't be ingesting meds.

I loved Monistat 7! It helped sooo much and I never had a mess as long as you followed the instructions and take it before bedtime. And it didnt burn me at all, in fact it took the burn and itch away my first time using it and it just kept improving from there. Fricken amazing stuff :)

I agree with simmons, I'd just make an earlier appt. it def. sounds like a yeast infection, so I'd call and let them know your symptoms and they may just prescribe you something. Good luck mama!

Monistat is awful!!! Worst thing I've ever tried! Super messy and burns and made it itch even more. Id get a doctor's appointment sooner and have them give you something else. I was just given diflucan which you can't have your first trimester, but I'm 30 weeks.

Oh I had that at 7weeks. You should treat it because it ***** it starts to get itchier and it would bug me while waking it also hurts to have sex. I treated it with a cream called monistat 7 day treatment when you put this cream it burns for a bit then stops by the 6th day it was gone :)

it does sound like it could be a yeast infection but usually if a yeast infection it actually smells like yeast in my experience.
