Yeast infection?!

I just got a call from my obgyn saying I have a yeast infection. I'm 8 1/2 weeks pregnant. I've never had anything like this before. Is it common? Has anyone else had it? They gave me a prescription its a one time pill you take to help clear it up.

Did you know that you can get many vaginal infections like this from cleaning yourself too well? You can wash away too much good bacteria causing the bad bacteria to take over causing an infection. Its not really about "not cleaning yourself well."

I've also had a yeast infection never burned on the a regular day basis. But after sex it was burning I went & got checked NEVER had a std or nothing just a yeast infection coming off antibiotics but they are common anyway.

Lol its not burning like you have something but once you have sex & sperm mix with yeast it very well cause burning. But on a regular it's just a itch. But burning is associated w/sex & yeast infections. It's not about cleaning yourself right either. Some women may not experience it but other does & doesn't mean it's not true.

I have never once heard of someone burning when they have had a yeast infection but i guess if u have a very serious case and you reached that stage you probably can if you dont clean yourself right

Yeast infections can most certainly cause burning especially during vaginal intercourse and/or urination. It doesnt always mean you have an std of you have burning. Ive never had an std and do not to this day, however the only symptom ive ever had clueing a yeast infection was burning. Take care

If u have a yeast its not supposed to burn that wouldn't be a yeast that would be an std but its very common for pregnant women because your alot more sensitive down there so its alot more easier for you to get one try using dove soap instead of scented that could be the cause or your not wiping right or wearing tight clothes can also cause it

Yeast infections can cause symptoms and simetimes they dont. Most common symptoms is a thick cottage cheese like discharge, itching vagina, burning, and sometimes a odor that may smell like bread "yeast".

A yeast infection just means that your body is a little off down there it's honestly not a big thing at all. Women get yeast infections all the time and half the time they don't even know it. Just do what your doc said you have nothing to worry about.
