because last time they made me stay overnight and my son couldn't stay with me. Hes almost 2 and doesn't understand if im not home and hubby is at work till 10 so im sucking it up.
Yea ik I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy what is probably my last pregnancy. Hyperemesis is not something id ever wish on anyone. If your feeling dehydtared now y not go to hospital and get ivs and stuff hun. Might make you feel a little better. :-)
ill talk to my doctor and I don't think I am in any danger of gaining weight. my doctor said even though im keeping food down my baby girl is using all the calories and so im not really gaining anything that's why even when I went that month without puking im still loosing weight.
Last time I was hospitalized they gave me both and I kept some food down but liquids not so much. My biggest worry is that im already feeling kind of overheated and dehydrated I look like a ghost. Ill talk to my doctor thanks for the advice its kind of sad though this is my last pregnancy and im getting my tubes tied I wish I wouldn't have it so rough so I could enjoy it some ya know.
Oh im sry hun I was able to keep the others down after I got out of hospital adter having iv zofran. It may seem extreme but won't hurt to ask and you sound like a really severe case in fact I've never talked to someone who was worse than it than myself but im pretty sure you are worse than I was and I was really bad :-( ask you doctor about a pic line for iv zofran at home. In my opinion there's nothing better than zofran fur this and they c made mec try everything else before zofran nothing helped even nasty suppository! :-(
I have hypermesis gravidarum too. I've been on bed rest since 8 weeks from it, I'm 38 weeks now. Ask the doctor about reglan. The Zofran alone didn't do enough so after a few stays in the hospital the doctor decided to give me both, I was around 15 weeks I believe. Zofran and reglan together work great for me! I still throw up about once a day but sometimes I can go the entire day not throwing up. I've been able to GAIN about 15 lbs. before I was on both I kept dropping weight since nothing would stay down. For a while all I could eat was cereal too and then out of nowhere I became lactose intolerant. Try graham crackers and teddy Graham's, they're all I can keep down on my really bad days. Good luck!
I already was prescribed the non dissolvable one and kept throwing it up instantly I cant even keep my prenatal down so I don't bother taking them. And thanks I see my doctor on the 24th I think im going to see what he recommends since I only have 13 weeks left. Im just so tired of seeing every food in the since of what tastes better being thrown up.
Yes I suffered with it first pregnancy ik how you feel huny it's not something to be taken lightly and I feel bad for you and anyone that's this happens to. You deff need to talk to doctor. Ask for the zofran that Durant disolve I didn't like the disolving kind I like the reg swallow kind better I felt they worked better I normally had to take 2_3 a, day otherwise I couldn't keep anything down :-( I am sooooo thankful that I did not have it again this pregnancy best of luck sweety I hope you feel better!
