2 weeks late 1 pos and 1 neg??????????

so i havent had my period in 2 weeks. i took a test this morning and it was a positive. bur when i took one about an hour ago it was negative. my cervix is still really high and im still having pregnancy symptoms. nausea,lightheaded,mild cramping etc. so im not sure what to make of it and i cant get in to see my doctor till may 10. should i keep trying to test or just give up

You probably got a negative because your urine wasn't concentrated enough to have a level of HCG to detect that's why they say to only use first morning urine (fmu) I knew I was pregnant and had a positive blood test. I forgot the proof of pregnancy when I was applying for medical and had to take a test there. I had peed about 20 minutes before and the test came up negative. I had to get my Drs proof.  I would test again with FMU in a couple days.

thats weird. you would think that if your pregnant it wouldn't matter what time of day. Why do our body's have to be so difficult! lol i guess i shouldn't give up just yet.

I agree with what Brittny said, you probably got your positive because it was more concentrated as it was FMU. You could also hold your urine for 4 hours or so without anything to drink and then take a test. Good luck

i took another test this morning and it was negative. but i did the math from the time i ovulated to now, so that would make me about 3 to 4 weeks along. i had inter course only 3 times last month and 2 of the times were the day and day after i ovulated(24th/25th). so is it possible i dont have high enough HCG. i took a dollar tree store test and that was at 25miu/ml but the test i took at night and today are the first respose rapid test, and they dont say how sensitive it is anywhere. is it possible the rapid test wasn't sensitive enough for me?

I would definitely wait a few more days and then test again... Hopefully you will get more than one positive test in a few days =) I have my fingers crossed for you.

:) thank you!!...i bought more of the dollar store tests, they seem to be alot more sensitive. and there only a dollar! who knew lol

yes it could definately be too early to have enough HCG to show positive...I would for sure test again in a few days
