That's all I used to eat was Iceberg then I heard the same thing and I switched to Romaine so my baby gets more nutrients. Still has all the carrots and cabbage and such they put In the Iceberg, juss healthier. But If you really like Iceberg, there's nothin' wrong with washin' It off and adding more healthy veggies to It and stickin' with It. =-]

Just because it doesnt contain nutrients doesnt mean it is bad for you. It contains a lot of water so that will be good. Just make sure you rinse it good and you will be ok

It shouldn't be dirty. You can rinse it yourself and it's fine. But it is correct that iceberg has no nutrients. You want dark green things... Those have the good stuff! Iceberg is practically white which means it's lacking any real nutrition. Go ahead and eat it, but switch to fresh spinach or romaine if you want the extra goods.
