I feel like ima huge penguin my movemnts r so weird nw lol
It's not uncommon to get carpal tunnel when you're pregnant. I had the same thing happen when I was pregnant with both of my babies. The dr said it would go away after their births, and in rare occasions it wouldn't. Mine went away both times.
even laying with you hands on pillows(elevated) can help keep the fluid from buiding up in the joints, try limiting use, or repetative movement... like typing can irritate your finger joints... you could also try using wrist bands for carpal tunnel as this could be the cause as well... with my last pregnancy by the end i had no feeling left at all on my fingers... and it took a few weeks after delivery to get the feeling back but it had progressed from pain(at night) to complete numbness... this round im gonna try the wrist bands to see if they help...if i need them that is (fingers crossed i dont)... yep ice packs... if thats not giving relief then alternate it with heat, every 15-20 minutes to switch... and of course tylenol is an option to see if it helps :)
Ice packs work well for achey finger joints :-) if you don't have one you can take a bottle of water (drink a bit before doing this or it'll explode lol) and put it in the freezer. Then after a few hours you'll have a drinkable ice.water pack :-)
Ohk bt is ther anythn one cud use? Jus to relieve the pain, so mny thngs wth pregnancy cnt wait to tell my bby wt I hd to go thru lol
That lovely hormone relaxin! It causes ligaments in joints to do just that "relax" Its main job os to relax the joints in the pelvis so the baby has room to pass through the birth canal... Unfortunately tho relaxin also causes abnormal motion in many other joints of the body, causing inflammation and pain... so your poor hand joints are not left out :(
