Please help I'm a ftm with acid reflux and gastaritis and this baby is making it worse to the point of me getting sick. I have ate crackers and ate often. I take tums but they don't work what else can I try please I'm desperate

I kept throwing up every day and it would burn and it would disturb my sleep i told my doc and she said I have acid reflex she prescribed me famotidine 40mg and it helps me u might want to try that because tums don't work for that.

Gaviscon double effect realy helps and safe during pregnancy and its available @pharmacies n supermarkets. I drink a lot of water and also chew bubble gum(chappies) after every meal it helps a lot. Just make sure ur midwife knows n gives an ok.

I take 150mg zantac and its the only thing that works for me. I have heartburn and gerd. Had it before I got pregnant. Got worse when I got pregnant. So I have to take 2 a day. One in the morning and one at night. Try not to eat and then lay down. Wait about two hours after eating to lay down. I hope this helps. Good luck hun:)

I have to lay on my left side with my head elevated, no meds have worked for mine

I take galavson and it works well but that's only for when I get heartburn and mine is so severve I don't wanna wait till it hits I want to prevent it. I'm just so worried about things hurting the little one growing in me

I have the same problem mine is sever even when I'm not pregnant the only thing I found that helps me is zantac u can by it over the counter or get it prescribed to u I'm on my 4th and have had to take it with every pregnancy or I'm so sick I don't gain any weight
